Cosa fare nel weekend: Venezia.

Ok, San Valentino e' passato, il romanticismo e' finito, il carnevale e' andato ma se non sapete cosa fare nel weekend vi propongo una bella gita a Venezia.

Venezia la città sull'acqua.

Venezia e' una città che al mondo tutti conoscono per la sua caratteristica di essere letteralmente costruita sul mare. Fu costruita su più di 100 isole, e per rendere più stabili le fondamenta vennero piantati lunghi pali di legno nel terreno fangoso della palude. Grazie al fango salino il legno si pietrificò formando delle vere e proprie fondamenta utilizzate per la costruzione di Venezia.

I caratteristici canali che rendono la città così romantica venivano utilizzati storicamente come vie di trasporto e canali di scarico. Il continuo movimento delle maree aiutava a tenere pulita la città.

Venezia e' destinata a morire?

Fin dalla sua fondazione Venezia tende sempre di più ad affondare. Gli abitanti della città cercano di risolvere il problema aumentando gli strati di pavimento delle abitazioni, ma il problema si è fatto sempre più importante, fino ad arrivare ad ipotizzare che la città sia destinata a morire.

Per questo prima che sia troppo tardi se non avete ancora visto Venezia vi consigliamo di visitarla, e vi consigliamo di farlo anche nel caso abbiate già visto la città perche' offre sempre cose interessanti da vedere.

Museo Navale
Se siete appassionati di mare il museo navale fa per voi. Con oltre 25000 pezzi di imbarcazioni è un capolavoro di storia dell'acqua. Sviluppato su 5 piani e' forse uno dei più grandi complessi museali.

La Basilica di San Marco
Insieme a palazzo Ducale e' forse l'altro simbolo di Venezia. Un tempo era la cappella del doge ora tomba dell'Evangelista Marco.

Teatro la Fenice
Teatro di una bellezza impressionante è risorto più volte dalle sue stesse ceneri. Numerosi autori hanno messo in opera rappresentazioni in questo teatro, come Rossini, Verdi e Bellini. Per chi visita Venezia il teatro e' da vedere assolutamente.

E dopo tutta questa cultura un po' di svago con lo shopping tra le calle in cui si possono trovare grandi marchi delle firme italiane e perchè no, gustare un buonissimo espresso seduti in un tavolino in Piazza San Marco.
