La primavera è arrivata e con essa il sole. Tutti amiamo il caldo del sole, la luce fino a tardo pomeriggio, la sensazione di benessere che ci danno i raggi solari. Nel 1957 viene creato il modello 694 nato per le esigenze dei tranvieri di Torino, che hanno bisogno di un occhiale ampio capace di proteggerli da aria, polvere e sole. Il modello diventerà famoso in tutto il mondo grazie ad un'altra icona italiana, Marcello Mastroianni che lo indosserà in Divorzio all'Italiana.
L'azienda inizia a testare i suoi occhiali nelle situazioni più estreme, dal deserto a spedizioni in alta quota, fino a spedizioni con Reinhold Messner sull'Himalaya.
